Two words describe The Minister: fucking energy.
The Minister is a musical force that has attracted a small but fervent cult following, despite – or perhaps because of – the confusion and chaos surrounding them in the local music scene.
Drawing inspiration from N.E.R.D., Daft Punk, and MGMT, they make rock drums sound like hip-hop and hip-hop drums sound like rock, layering them with emotionally charged, almost emo melodies and rap.
