Cello, voice and drums become a world of their own in the hands of Maya Belsitzman and Matan Ephrat. Partners in life and music, they make familiar songs feel newly discovered and original songs feel like a first encounter with an old friend. Beloved in Israel and seasoned on international stages, the duo’s roughly ten albums and EPs journey across languages, songs and instrumental storytelling. Together and individually, they have made music with Barbra Streisand, Idan Raichel, Keren Ann, Yasmin Levy, Noa, trumpeter Avishai Cohen and Israeli singing legend Chava Alberstein.
